Figures of Struggle and Pan-Africanism: the ART Weapon association exhibits United Souls at the Paroles Indigo festival in Arles

From November 1 to 5, 2023, the festival Paroles Indigo celebrated its tenth anniversary in Arles, focusing on the theme of "The Current State of Pan-Africanism." The association courageously addressed this important issue by giving voice to authors, publishers, artists, and intellectuals from various African countries.

The festival examined the past and present nature of Pan-Africanism, exploring the new paradigms it encompasses, as well as the emergencies, perspectives, and types of encounters that fuel it. Particular attention was paid to the perception and reflection of young people from Africa and beyond on this historical concept.

During this significant event, ART Weapon had the privilege of presenting the exhibition "Figures of Struggle" from the United Souls brand, accompanied by texts by the historian Amzat Boukari-Yabara . This exhibition enriched the Van Gogh space, where the conference entitled "Pan-Africanism, a moment in history" took place.
