Le défilé dansé United Souls, un projet pédagogique inspirant

The United Souls dance parade, an inspiring educational project

I'm thrilled to share with you an exciting educational project that's taking shape. While creating the clothing brand United Souls, I found myself faced with an inevitable opportunity in the fashion world: organizing a runway show to showcase a seasonal collection.

United Souls, as you know, goes far beyond a simple clothing brand. It's a vibrant tribute, a duty of remembrance rendered to superheroes and superheroines who fought injustice. To this end, I collaborate with a collective of talented artists to create vibrant portraits of these "Figures of Struggle." Together, we bring these heroes to life by capturing their essence and highlighting their contribution to freedom and human dignity. The choice of textiles is simply a way to circulate these portraits in the public space and share their inspiration with as many people as possible.

Today, in partnership with the school ART Dance International will pay tribute to figures such as Nina Simone, Wangari Maathai, Simone de Beauvoir, Aimé Césaire, Gill Scott Heron and civil rights leader Rosa Parks through a dance parade. Students in the professional training program, who are aiming to reach the conservatory's final year level, have chosen to create dance pieces paying tribute to these figures. Their training in contemporary, classical and jazz dance will bring this tribute to life on the stage of the upcoming Clutchorama at the Biergarten de Purpan, this Tuesday, May 7 from 7:30 p.m.

As the warmer weather approaches, I invite you to discover not just a collection of stylish clothing, but to choose the wrestling figure you want to proudly wear at your next festival or while wandering around the space.
