Une chouette rencontre avec Nadia Mc Anuff : un t-shirt Sankara sur la scène du Rototom

A great meeting with Nadia Mc Anuff: a Sankara t-shirt on the Rototom stage

On Friday, August 15 , while on her way to the legendary Rototom Sunsplash festival in Benicàssim (Spain), Nadia Mc Anuff & The Ligerians stopped at the ephemeral guinguette in Lacroix-Falgarde , just a few minutes from Toulouse.

For United Souls, it was a great, rare, and promising encounter.

Nadia Mc Anuff, heir to a musical and activist legacy

Daughter of the legendary Winston Mc Anuff , a key figure in Jamaican reggae, Nadia perpetuates a legacy that is both musical and human . With her brother Kush, she initiated a family project which, after a few dates in France, is preparing to return in force next year with a major European tour . Several concerts are already highly anticipated in France, proof of the enthusiasm generated by this project.

United Souls & Nadia: a natural encounter

During this stop in Lacroix-Falgarde, I had the real pleasure of sharing a moment with Nadia. Very naturally, she expressed her support for United Souls , wearing our Thomas Sankara t-shirt on stage during Rototom, one of the biggest reggae festivals in Europe.

This gesture is not trivial: it helps resonate with the brand's message — Faces. A struggle. A legacy to carry.

Thank you so much for your support, Nadia. See you soon, sista lova .

A story that is part of continuity

This meeting is part of an already rich history between United Souls and the Mc Anuff family. Last March, we told how Winston and his daughter Nadia had already paid tribute to Thomas Sankara with United Souls , in a project that linked music, memory and transmission ( read the article here ).

From Winston to Nadia, it is the same flame that continues to burn: that of art as a weapon and of music as a bridge between peoples.

👉 Stay tuned: Nadia Mc Anuff & The Ligerians ' big tour planned for 2026 promises new opportunities to bring this shared energy to life.
