Rapper-poet Gaël Faye chooses Aimé Césaire!

The 26th edition of the Rio Loco Festival is one of the most important cultural events in the Pink City. The first festival to be held after the first lockdown, the Rio Loco Festival heralds the return of cultural life with a great lineup despite numerous restrictions.

Barely announced, the headliner, rapper-poet Gaël Faye, sold out all the available pre-sale tickets for his performance day.

Thanks to the support of the festival organizers and the invaluable help of our ambassador Flavia Coelho, who is also Gaël Faye's sister, we manage to meet him at the entrance to his dressing room.

As with every concert, the star is overwhelmed by numerous clothing suggestions from exceptional designers. How can we draw her attention to our Aimé Césaire t-shirt?

Gaël Faye leaves his dressing room, embarrassed by the number of clothing designs proposed for his stage performance. It was at this precise moment that we presented ourselves with the Aimé Césaire t-shirt designed by illustrator Olivier Bonhomme. The poet-rapper found the t-shirt magnificent and told us: “I love it, you know what, I'm going to wear it on stage later.” Better yet, he chose to honor what he calls “the artistic and political approach” of United Souls by wearing our creation several times during his summer tour.
