Conceived as a "Fanon mask," the design echoes Black Skin, White Masks and invites you to discover the thought behind the face.

This creation was born from a collaboration with director Jean-Claude Barny to help prepare audiences for the release of his film Fanon. A meeting of drawing, cinema, and transmission, bringing history and anti-colonial reflection into everyday life.

Available in white, sand, peach, pink, and lavender, this light-toned model combines a regular fit with 180 gsm organic cotton. It can be worn on its own with jeans or under a jacket, to compose an outfit where art has meaning.

THE ANTI-COLONIAL PSYCHIATRIST

FRANTZ FANON (1925-1961) - MARTINIQUE

Born in Martinique, Frantz Fanon was a psychiatrist, writer, and major thinker of the anti-colonial struggle. His work in Algeria fueled his reflection on the psychological wounds of colonial domination, alienation, and racism. In Black Skin, White Masks and The Wretched of the Earth, he explores the conditions for mental, cultural, and political emancipation. Committed to the FLN, he placed his thought at the service of peoples in struggle. He died in 1961 at the age of 36, leaving behind a body of work that continues to shed light on reflections regarding freedom, identity, and dignity.
