Make life bloom again, carry hope. On this United Souls t-shirt, Marielle Franco's smile meets five flowers from Brazil. Watercolorist Amandine Szczepaniak composes a luminous portrait: a tribute that does not reduce Marielle to her death, but symbolically restores her life, her desires, and her pride.

Amandine did not know Marielle before this creation. Upon discovering her story, she was moved by her journey and by a struggle that continues to resonate in Brazil. She chose to replace her afro hairstyle with five flowers, each carrying a color and a meaning in this work: blue for life and youth, pink for sexuality, purple for spirit, red for passion, and orange for pride.

For the artist, this gesture restores to Marielle what racism and imperialist domination stole from her, and echoes what they took from the Brazilian people. The flowers become a promise of presence, a way to restore beauty to memory and possibility to the future. This creation carries a conviction: art is the only form of eternity here on earth.

With its regular fit and 180 g/m² 100% organic cotton fabric, this artist t-shirt accompanies everyday life with a message that matters. Worn with jeans, under a jacket, or in the course of an encounter, the portrait shares the memory of Marielle and opens up dialogue. The art of wearing your convictions, with elegance and hope. At United Souls, style has meaning.

In this portrait, the flowers are not mere decoration. They are the language chosen by Amandine to celebrate Marielle Franco and to extend, through color, everything that made her a woman who was alive, free, and committed.

MARIELLE FRANCO (1979-2018) - BRAZIL

Marielle Franco was a politician assassinated on March 14, 2018, in Rio de Janeiro. Born in a favela, she studied sociology and public administration. Within civil society and later the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL), this lesbian activist committed herself to fighting against racism and police violence targeting women and Black minorities. In 2016, she was elected a city councilor in Rio with the fifth-highest number of votes and the most votes for a woman in that position. A rising figure in Brazilian political life, committed to fighting corruption, Marielle Franco chaired the Commission for Women's Rights, becoming a target for criminal and far-right organizations. In the aftermath of her assassination, hundreds of thousands of people expressed their outrage around the world.
